Speakeasy was inspired by a trip that I made to the world's oldest apothecary in Florance, Italy, di Santa Maria Novella (which can trace its roots back to the 1221). This was the first time that I had ever seen a tobacco-scented soap bar. I smelled its unique warm aroma and was completely blown away. It was the only souvenir that I brought home with me from that memorable trip. Years later the magical hardbound box that protected this masterpiece still captures its exhilarating aroma and I can picture myself back in Florence, Italy, standing underneath hundreds of dried floral arrangements hanging from the ceilings of the di Santa Maria Novella. This experience sparked the beginning of Dark Harmony Soap Co. and creating a unique tobacco scent that I could be proud of was a priority for my first collection release.
All soaps are handmade. This includes: designed, sculpted, molded, hand-painted, scented. All packaging is hand-stamped in house.

Rose essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties that help calm and soothe inflamed or irritated skin. Sandalwood essential oil is used to relax and soothe the skin.
