Aroma: A French inspired complex combination of floral and fruity notes
Shea butter soap bar 150g (Large Bar).
The aroma’s chosen for this soap were inspired by Georges Méliès, a pioneer of early cinema, drew heavily from 19th-century French artistic traditions, particularly the féerie (fairy plays) and theatrical spectacles, to create his "magic" films. Incorporating the symbolism of grapes and roses into this soap highlights the transition from static painting to dynamic, surreal storytelling.
The design for this soap bar was inspired by the silent film Le Voyage Dans La Lune (Le A Trip to the Moon), released on September 1, 1902. This was Georges Méliès’ most famous work and a cornerstone of cinematic history. It is widely considered the first science-fiction film.
Georges Méliès (1861–1938) was a French illusionist, toymaker and film director who famously pioneered the use of special effects, transforming cinema from a documentary tool into a medium of fantasy and storytelling.
"If you've ever wondered where your dreams come from, you look around... this is where they're made.”— Georges Méliès
